Comfortable. Reliable. Connected.

Dear readers,

this is how Dr. Keith Young of the Irish company ATC describes our state of Hessen. The data center and logistics company ATC was established in Dublin in 1979 and expanded its presence in Hessen last year. Read on in our newsletter to find out why they chose Frankfurt as a location and what advice Keith has for future investors in Hessen.

I think Keith is right: Hessen is comfortable, reliable and connected. And I’d add one more thing that Keith will learn soon: Hessen is innovative. This is where ideas are born and nurtured, since we know innovation is one of the key factors for the success of modern economies. In this vein, the articles in our newsletter tell readers more about the local startup scene. We also introduce the top foreign direct investments of 2019 in Hessen and take a look at the European Union without the United Kingdom. If you want to know how Brexit has changed Hessen over the past three years, just scroll down.

Happy reading!
