Dear Readers,

Another positive and eventful year for Hessen is coming to a close. There has certainly been no lack of achievements to report: from the decision of the Chinese car companies Chery and Geely to establish a presence in Raunheim to the opening of a representative office by the Bank of Taiwan in Frankfurt. Hessen has once again proven that our state, located in the heart of Europe, offers decisive location benefits that ensure companies will remain successful in the future.

In this newsletter, we have provided a summary of the top 3 investments in Hessen from this past year. They are a reflection of the many opportunities that the state of Hessen has to offer. Not only companies from the pharmaceutical and chemical industries are benefiting from the excellent infrastructure and high quality of life found here: financial service providers and educational organizations have also recognized the potential that Hessen holds. It therefore comes as no surprise that the number of requests and meetings with potential investors has risen once again this year. Hessen Trade & Invest GmbH’s investor consultants provided interested companies with their expertise and support and they were able to offer assistance with a wide array of issues. If you also have questions about the state of Hessen or are planning to invest in Germany, then please get in touch. We look forward to assisting you. More information can be found here:

After such successful months, I look forward to welcoming the new year full of promising projects for Hessen. I wish you all happy holidays and a great start to 2019!
