This past year witnessed a new record as 173 investors from outside of Germany made the decision to establish permanent operations in Hessen. This development can be attributed to the productive teamwork carried out together with all of Hessen’s regional partners and multipliers and marks an accomplishment that we can definitely take pride in!
June 23, 2018 marked the second anniversary of the decision made by the British people to leave the European Union. Less than a month earlier, HA Hessen Agentur GmbH published a study entitled Hessen and Brexit: one year into the negotiations based on a Brexit themed survey of approximately 700 Hessen based companies. This newsletter reveals which of the two scenarios – hard Brexit or soft Brexit – the Hessian economy is anticipating.
In light of the plans to expand our activities outside of Germany in the future, we established correspondents over the past year to represent us in North America (USA), Asia (Singapore), and South America (Argentina). This has already allowed us to meet numerous interested entrepreneurs in Singapore (link to article). Make sure to have a look into the WHAT’S NEW? category for more information.
Hessen’s reputation for having particularly strong networks in place serves as ample reason to dedicate the upcoming issues of this newsletter to some of Hessen’s international communities and their representative associations. The German-Asian Business Circle is set to be the first of these associations to be featured.
